Security starts to shut off access to the seats well before noon…
No reserved seats in this section… and the wait staff will cram more people into the table if there is even a hint of space

The end of a fantastic afternoon at the Wies’n
Since Friday was a public holiday, Janet and I made our way back to the Wies’n for our last afternoon at Oktoberfest. By the time we arrived at 10, the tents were pretty full, but we were able to get seats at our first choice, Schutzen. The food was fantastic, the music was fun… and the bathrooms were some of the worst that we have experienced at the Wies’n. There was only a single door into the men’s and women’s rooms serving as both entrance and exit… and the line into the women’s was so long that half of the space in front of the urinals was filled with women trying to figure out how to be able to… well… as we would say in camera terms, point and shoot.
Still, a fantastic afternoon at the Wies’n.
