When we decided to get Digital Cable, I thought "Yay! More channels! Maybe E! Maybe the Cartoon Network!" The I found out that there was to be no E!, no Cartoon Network (Yet!) But I've learned something very important: Digital Cable is so much more than a few new channels! It takes all the guesswork out of watching television. You can look at the on-line TV Guide, a menu actually tells you what show is on as you channel surf (no more of that "what is this show/movie/infomercial?" or "what's coming on after all these damned commercials?"), and you can program the TV to remind you when a show you want to watch is coming on one minute before it starts! The three channels worth of HBO is just the icing on the cake. Oh, and the picture is better, too. Now I never have to leave home! I'm so excited, I've way overused the exclamation point!
